At Ravello the national association of sommeliers of the Amalfi Coast is born.

At Ravello the national association of sommeliers of the Amalfi Coast is born.
  During a wine and food event set amongst the beautiful scenery of the Villa Cimbrone, the national association sommeliers (Ais) Costa of Amalfi was created.
  To do the honours were the Director of the Hotel Villa Cimbrone, and chairman of Hoteliers of Ravello, Giorgio Vuilleumier, together with the chancellor of the coastal section AIS and the Ravellian Antonio Amato, long time professional sommelier of the restaurant “Il Flauto do Pan “at the Villa Cimbrone.
In the wonderfully Gothic upper room many people were able to taste, in addition to the increasingly popular wines of the Amalfi Coast, many other local and regional products submitted by companies that joined the event.
Attending were some of the the most prestigious coastal wineries to the agricultural activities that carry on ancient tradition. The Ais Amalfi Coast will be undoubtedly an important tool to promote local wines and help our many guests to appreciate them.
