Who Was Spotted at the Luisa Via Roma x UNICEF Capri Gala?
American singer Jennifer Lopez exclusively performed at Certosa di San Giacomo in Capri during the Luisa Via Roma for United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund’s summer gala, supporting the UNICEF projects around the world. The agency of the United Nations is “responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide.”
Her performance was one of the highlights over the island weekend and the major highlight: the millions of dollars raised.
July 30 marked the return of the charity event, which included 900 guests, the largest attendance yet. The sixth-year event auction raised around eight million dollars in aiding the Ukrainian and Syrian emergencies. The historic space of the Certosa di San Giacomo, a 14th-century monastery, added uniqueness and Italian history to the event as its rests on the cliffs of Capri.

Some items actioned off include Works by Andy Warhol, Alex Israel and Richard Orlinski, one of Pablo Picasso’s notebooks containing sketches, Steve McQueen’s 1961 racing car and a Yamaha piano.
Then, Lopez performed a mixture of her hit songs like “If You Had My Love,” and “On the Floor,” in addition to Donna Summer’s “Last Dance” and Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” for about 30 minutes, with the usually loaded side of choreography and glamorous outfit changes.
Attendees included international celebrities, such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Vanessa Hudgens, Jared Leto, Jamie Foxx, Ed Westwick, Ansel Elgort, Maye Musk, Casey Affleck, and Spike Lee, philanthropists, Italian fashion executives, like Gucci’s president and chief executive officer and Moncler’s chairman and chief executive officer, American fashion designer, Michael Kors and other personalities, like TikTok influencers.
